Christmas Delivery and FAQs

Christmas Delivery

All parcels are sent via Royal Mail Second Class Post.  Please allow 3-5 working days for your parcel to arrive. 

As there are strikes planned this season, and adverse weather conditions in some locations, please allow 8-10 days for delivery.  To compensate for this all parcels will be upgraded to First Class post from Friday 9th - Friday 16th December 2022.  

Last Orders for Christmas

UK Local Collection - Wednesday 21st December

International Orders - Wednesday 7th December

Local Collection

Local collection is available from Flying Bobbins HQ in Cheam, Surrey.  The last day to place an order for local collection before Christmas is Wednesday 21st December.  Orders will be available for you to collect until 4pm on Thursday 23rd December.  We re-open for local collection on Tuesday 27th December.

Christmas Opening Hours

Flying Bobbins HQ will be closed from Friday 24th December until Tuesday 27th December.  You can place orders via the website during this time, these orders will be dispatched on Wednesday 28th December.  Due to the Christmas and New Year Bank holidays, orders may take longer that normal to reach you during this time.  

Returns

Unwanted 2022 Christmas gifts can be returned by 31st January 2023.  These gifts must be un-used and in original condition.  You can choose to exchange or receive a refund.  Refunds will be given only once we have received your item back at our head office.  Fabrics which have been washed or cut cannot be returned.  Please e-mail hello@flyingbobbins.com for further assistance.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are available in multiples of £10.  These are e-mailed directly to your inbox the moment you place your order.  We do not send out physical gift cards.  

THE DATES ON THE GIFT CARDS ARE EXPRESSED IN USA FORMAT - MONTH, DAY, YEAR. YOU HAVE ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE TO SPEND YOUR GIFT CARD.

Gift Service

We offer a gift service.  Please get in touch at www.flyingbobbins.com with details of your budget and the recipients sewing level and colour/style preferences and we will be happy to put together and gift wrap the perfect present for you.
