Continue your dressmaking journey with this five week course. You will learn how to make the Indigo Dress by Tilly and the Buttons. You will further your dressmaking skills, covering new techniques, such as sewing a dart, inserting a sleeve and creating gathers.
The course price includes your own Indigo paper pattern. The fabric needed for this project is not included. You will get 10% off of any fabrics purchased from Flying Bobbins, or you can bring your own fabric.
Classes are held at my home studio in Cheam, Surrey. Details and directions are provided with booking confirmation.
The Indigo dress pattern is very versatile, you can choose to make a dress, or a tunic style top. There's a plain or frill sleeve, and even a maxi dress add-on available (from Tilly and the Buttons) too. This style suits floatier fabrics, so you will have the opportunity to work with viscose challis, double gauze or crepe.
