The Flying Bobbins Weekender Bag is a super roomy hold-all, perfect for your next get-away. Featuring a quilted lining with internal zip and patch pockets and an external pocket with bound top edge, the Weekender also boasts grab handles, an adjustable strap and a sturdy base.
Choice of paper or PDF pattern. Both include a full video sew-along tutorial.
You can make this bag using your own supplies, or purchase the accompanying kit.
The Weekender Bag

This bag is perfect for those established sewists who wish to progress their skills and challenge themselves to make a stunning project which will cause much amazement and admiration!

Supplies Needed:
- Bag Fabric 1.0m x at 140cm wide for the main bag (Leatherette, Canvas, Denim, Twill, Half-Panama)
- Printed Cotton 1.2m at 140cm wide for the lining
- Contrast Fabric/PU x 0.25m at 140cm wide for the trim
- Fusible Fleece x 1m
- Decovil (or similar) 50cm x 23cm piece for bag base
- Sew-All Thread to match the main and lining fabrics
- Top-Stitch Thread to match the contrast trim
- 20cm zip x 1 for the internal pocket
- 75cm Continuous Zip with 2 pullers for the main bag
- Binding x 40cm for the internal pocket
- 30mm Webbing x 3m for the strap
- 30mm Swivel Snap Hooks x 2
- 30mm D-Rings x 4
- 30mm Adjuster x 1
- Mini D-Ring x 1

Paper Pattern
You will receive an envelope containing a paper pattern and full colour instructions as well as a link to the video tutorial for this project. This will be posted via Royal Mail.
Flying Bobbins parcels are sent by Royal Mail. Please allow 3-5 working days for your goods to arrive.
UK Delivery
Flying Bobbins ships to the UK and Northern Ireland at a flat rate of £3.80.
Collection is Free
You can collect your goods for free from Flying Bobbins HQ in Cheam. Select local collection at the check out and details will be sent to you. Please drop me an e-mail at hello@flyingbobbins.com or call/text me on 07949 113 558 when you are on your way so that I can make sure your parcel is ready.
International Delivery
International shipping is currently suspended. This includes the USA, EU, Europe and the Republic of Ireland. This is due to a growing number of restrictions, tariffs and requirements which out weigh the benefits of shipping to our overseas customers at present.
Returns
If you change your mind, you can return your Flying Bobbins goods as long as they are in tact and as new. Returns on cut to order fabrics and trims are at the discretion of Flying Bobbins. You are responsible for any returns postage costs. You will only be refunded once the goods are back with Flying Bobbins. We suggest you use a tracked service for returning goods to us. PDF Pattern
On purchasing the PDF Pattern you will receive an email with an attachment. Inside the attachment you will find files to download and keep containing the pattern, instructions and a link to the video tutorial for this project. These can be printed at home or sent to your local print shop. The email is sent automatically - If you have not received your PDF pattern, please check the spam folder of your email account.
