Make a gorgeous Indigo dress or top by Tilly and the Buttons using Atelier Brunette Canopy fabric in Cobalt. This kit includes all you need to make a dress or top. I have created a series of videos on my YouTube channel, Flying Bobbins Tutorials, which you can sew along with.
If you have been inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee, this style makes the perfect 'Buffet' dress. Make this into a maxi dress by adding an additional panel to the bottom.
The Indigo dress/top is suitable for confident beginners and is by award winning independent pattern company Tilly and the Buttons. The pattern is really clear and easy to follow and includes a full colour booklet taking you through each step.
I love this dress/top because it's so easy to wear. You can dress it up or down depending on your mood. As it's a smock style, it's great for events and BBQs as the waistline is nice and loose (More pudding please!!). You can choose to make with a bracelet sleeve or a frill sleeve and you can add a frill seam detail if you like too. This style does not require a zip and even has pockets!! So much to love.
Atelier Brunette viscose fabrics are super soft and drape beautifully, they are perfect for this soft, flowing style of dress/top. Atelier Brunette fabrics are designed in Paris and made in India. I absolutely love sewing with them as the outcome is always really impressive. You get your very own 'designer' dress!

A piece of Vlieseline medium soft fusible interfacing for the neckline facing and pockets.
A reel of Coats Moon thread 1000 yards in a co-ordinating colour.
Want to add more fabric so that you can increase the length of your dress, add an extra tier, or make accessories to go with it? You can buy extra fabric here. Your fabric will be cut as one continuous length. atelier-brunette-canopy-cobalt-fabric-19-per-metre
Please always wash your fabric first before cutting.
This print is described as 'Cobalt' by Atelier Brunette. I'd describe it as blush pink tones with cobalt blue highlights. If in doubt, then please request a swatch.
Delivery
Flying Bobbins parcels are sent by Royal Mail. Please allow 3-5 working days for your goods to arrive.

International Delivery
Flying Bobbins now ships internationally. Parcels are limited to a maximum weight of 2kg. If your order exceeds this, we will be in touch with options to split your order into multiple parcels. You will need to pay separately for each parcel.

Returns
If you change your mind, you can return your Flying Bobbins goods as long as they are in tact and as new. Returns on cut to order fabrics and trims are at the discretion of Flying Bobbins. You are responsible for any returns postage costs. You will only be refunded once the goods are back with Flying Bobbins. We suggest you use a tracked service for returning goods to us.
