Sew along with me and make the Montauk trousers by Liesl and Co.
This kit contains a soft, drapey viscose twill in old rose.
I have loaded a series of easy to follow, sew-along videos on my YouTube channel, Flying Bobbins Tutorials, making this a great project for those sewists learning to make your own clothes.
These trousers are easy to make and super comfortable. They have no zip or fly and the fit is relaxed. You can choose to make with welt or patch pockets at the back.
As this is an American pattern, please not that the sizes are US, the body measurements are given in inches and the fabric requirements are given in yards.
Please refer to the image of the sizing table to choose your size. Measure your waist and hips to see which size you should make. If in between sizes, go up.
Your kit includes all you need to make these trousers:
A length of Viscose Twill in Old Rose
A Montauk trousers paper sewing pattern by Liesl and Co
A reel 100m of co-ordinating Gutermann thread
A 1m packet of 20mm Hemline non-roll elastic for the waistband
A strip of 25mm superset interfacing
A 38mm Safety Pin
