Soft and cool, Chambray is a cotton, plain weave fabric where the weft fibres are white and the warp fibres are dyed, commonly indigo. Now to put that into plain English - Chambray is what denim shirts are made from. So, for a fabric which is as versatile as denim, and as cool as cotton, look no further! I would use this for a pair on Liesl and Co Montauk trousers, or a Tilly and the Buttons Lyra dress.
