Soft and cool, Chambray is a cotton, plain weave fabric where the weft fibres are white and the warp fibres are dyed, commonly indigo. Now to put that into plain English - Chambray is what denim shirts are made from. So, for a fabric which is as versatile as denim, and as cool as cotton, look no further! I would use this for a pair on Liesl and Co Montauk trousers, or a Tilly and the Buttons Lyra dress.
This fabric is sold by the HALF METER - Please add desired quantity of half metres to your basket. Your fabric will be cut as one continuous length.

Wash first before cutting to eliminate shrinkage. Pay attention to darker indigos as the dye can rub onto lighter surfaces.
