Skill Level: You should be able to sew independently.

About this course

An open day at the Flying Bobbins sewing cabin during which you can come and use all machines and facilities to work on a project of your choosing. Liz will be on hand to help with any technical advice needed. A relaxed environment where you an sew, chat and enjoy uninterrupted creativity.

Please bring your own project to work on, or pre-order a Flying Bobbins project for collection on the day.

Please note that there is limited cutting out space.

  • A comprehensive selection of threads and needles are provided.
  • All fabrics and notions are available to purchase as and when needed.

  • Please bring your packed lunch if staying for the day.

You Will Learn

This is an independent session, and help will be provided when needed specific to your chosen project.

Booking Terms

Full payment for the class shall be taken at point of booking to secure your place. Cash payments cannot be accepted for classes.

Minimum Class Size:

The minimum class size for this course is 4 participants.  Should this number not be reached, the class will not be able to run.  Flying Bobbins will strive to find a solution, however, in some cases, classes may have to be cancelled due to low numbers.  You will be kept informed at all times and a full refund will be given for any cancelled courses.

Cancellation Policy:

Should you wish to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible.  Cancellations made less than 3 weeks in advance will be charged at 50%.

Absence:

If you can't make one of the classes, every effort will be made to accommodate you on another class, however this cannot be guaranteed.  No refund will be given for missed classes.

In the unlikely event that the class cannot go ahead due to teacher absence, alternative arrangements will be made and a range of dates will be offered to the class.  A refund for the missed class will be given where no suitable alternative can be arranged.

Illness:

If you feel unwell, please do not attend.  Every effort will be made to find an alternative class so that you can catch up. Video tuition will be provided where available.
