FAQs
How do I join?
Choose your tier; Bronze, Silver or Gold. Add to cart and check out. Make sure you are subscribed to receive my emails. You will be charged for your first month straight away. If you don't already have one, you will need to create a Flying Bobbins account. You will have instant access to the Member's Club Lounge where you'll find all you need to get started. You'll also receive a welcome email from me.
What and when will I be charged?
Bronze membership is free. Silver is £10 per month, and Gold is £20 per month. This will charges automatically every month until you cancel or pause your membership. You will receive a reminder prior to being charged.
How do I access the video tutorials?
Silver and Gold members will gain access to the Video Vault. Here you can browse by garment type and access all of my video tutorials. New tutorials are added every other month and can be found in the Video Vault.
What are the video tutorials like?
My video tutorials are on You Tube but can only be accessed via the secret links found within the Video Vault. Each project is a playlist containing about four to six videos covering everything from choosing your size, altering the pattern and cutting out your fabric, to sewing your garment with professional finishing touches. I feature popular patterns covering a multitude of dressmaking skills.
What level of sewing is the Sew Along Club for?
There is something for everyone in the Sew Along Club; easy projects for beginners to follow such as simple pyjama bottoms, right up to more complicated projects such as lined jackets and jeans. Each season I select a mix of easy and challenging projects to add to the Video Vault.
Do I need to buy a kit every month?
You can follow the video tutorials each month using your own pattern and supplies, so you do not need to buy a kit each month. Kits will be available to order to compliment the sew alongs, but it is up to you if you want to buy one.
Is the Sew Along Club suitable for overseas customers?
Yes, you can join the Sew Along Club from anywhere in the world. If you order kits or other physical items, then please note that import charges may apply.
